This service allows riders to request appropriately equipped vehicles, Wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs). All miwav vehicles are fitted with mobility components and special adaptations to support and aid the rider entering and exiting the vehicle, but to also ensure a safe and comfortable journey. The transport provider operating these vehicles will be fully trained in Disability Equality Training (DET), using the WAV correctly and aiding riders throughout the journey.
